Gelline De Guzman is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with deep experience providing advisory services on complex transactional, integration, and technical accounting issues. Prior to joining Stout, Gelline spent six years in the Deal Advisory practices at KPMG LLP.

She has assisted acquirers and targets through post-merger activities (i.e., the “first 100 days”) with respect to finance integration and transformation. Specifically, she has experience in performing rapid assessments to determine gaps in a company’s current finance operations landscape and providing a detailed framework and roadmap of improvement opportunities.

Gelline also has experience in evaluating financial reporting requirements, preparing offering documents, and drafting or reviewing SEC comment letter responses in an IPO or SPAC transaction.

Gelline has extensive experience in technical accounting matters (e.g., as cryptocurrency and digital assets, revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, consolidations, stock-based compensation, debt versus equity, derivatives, IFRS/US GAAP conversions, etc.). This includes providing accounting change services to private and publicly traded companies through the management of the assessment, design, and implementation of new technical accounting standards.
