Ryan Helmer has over 10 years of experience providing financial and valuation advisory services to clients for financial and tax reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategic planning matters. He has expertise across a broad range of industries, including automotive, consumer goods and retail, diversified industrials, technology, and transportation.

Ryan advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, business enterprise valuation, stock-option valuation, audit reviews of third-party analyses, and the valuation of various intangible assets (i.e., developed technology, trademark/trade names, etc.) utilizing various forms of the income, market, and cost approaches. His experience spans a diverse client base, from regional middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar SEC reporting enterprises, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and accounting firms.

Prior to joining Stout, Ryan was a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ in its Deals practice, performing various types of business and intangible asset valuations for financial and tax reporting purposes as well as strategic value consulting matters. Prior to that, Ryan worked in valuation advisory at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) and in the finance group of a multinational information technology company.
