Kate Schaffer has over 10 years of experience providing financial and litigation consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, construction and manufacturing, among others. Kate’s experience includes accounting investigations, tax controversies, audit and restatement proceedings, and disputes involving the quantification of damages.

Prior to joining Stout, Kate provided dispute consulting services at Natoma Partners, Grant Thornton and Huron Consulting Group where she performed forensic investigations and provided financial modeling, damages and accounting analysis to clients involved in complex commercial disputes and tax controversy matters.

Kate is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
