Scott Pemberton

Scott Pemberton's concentration is in machinery & equipment appraisal, but he also has real estate appraisal experience. Scott has over 25 years of experience in valuing both personal and real property assets.

Scott has performed valuations for financial reporting, federal income tax reporting, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment testing, insurance placement, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate conversions, financial and tax planning, fair market value elections for tax purposes, asset-based lending, property tax disputes, condemnation, leasing, insurance, litigation and bankruptcy purposes for clients in numerous industries, including oil & gas, energy, manufacturing (automotive, food, electronics, pulp & paper, steel production, metalworking, chemicals, textiles), airlines, cement and aggregates, communications (voice and data, television, print), mining, transportation (rail, marine, and trucking) and retail.  Scott has provided valuation consulting services in the US, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Canada, Australia, Central America and South America.

Scott also has experience conducting tagging, verification, and reconciliation services for large and small industrial and commercial facilities throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Stout, Scott was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP. Preceding Deloitte, Scott was a Manager at Dovebid Valuation Services, Inc., BearingPoint and KPMG.
