Rodney Lacey has over 13 years of experience providing valuation services to both public and private-sector clients. He has expertise across a broad range of industries, including utilities, oil and gas, independent power producer/renewable, midstream/downstream, and infrastructure.

Rodney advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on independent third-party fair value determination/support for financial reporting purposes, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, business enterprise valuation, stock-option valuation, audit reviews of third-party analyses, and the valuation of various intangible assets (i.e., developed technology, trademark/trade names, etc.) utilizing various forms of the income, market, and cost approaches. He works closely with private equity funds, pensions, business development companies, and financial sponsors in the context of valuation support of privately held securities for financial reporting purposes.

Prior to joining Stout, Rodney worked for twelve years in the Energy Portfolio Valuation group at Kroll in Dallas, TX. He also has previous experience as a fixed income research analyst on the buy side and sell side both in New York and London.
