Jessie Schmor has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and brings a multidisciplinary background as a registered nurse, certified coder, and Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator. Her experience across both the Canadian and U.S. healthcare systems gives her a broad perspective on the importance of access to quality healthcare for patients, providers, and the healthcare system overall.

Before joining Stout, Jessie founded Allegiant Experts to help support the delivery of high-quality, affordable healthcare in the United States. She advises on medical-related legal matters, drawing on her deep knowledge of healthcare coding, billing, documentation, and clinical review.

She has worked with attorneys, compliance officers, patients, health plans, and providers to help them navigate complex healthcare coding and billing issues, resolve disputes, and support continued access to quality care at a fair price. She analyzes complex medical information and provides informed opinions in medical-legal and healthcare matters to help clients achieve favorable outcomes.

She provides clinical investigations related to healthcare fraud and serves as a subject matter expert in both consulting and testifying roles. Jessie has supported depositions and trials and has been qualified as an expert in coding, billing, and documentation in federal court and in multiple states, including Florida and Georgia.
