Jerry M. Chang

Jerry Chang has over 30 years of experience in valuation, financial, and deal advisory services for clients seeking support with strategic decision making, transaction planning, bankruptcy/restructuring, regulatory compliance, litigation/arbitration support, financial reporting, and tax compliance. He specializes in valuing businesses, equity interests, partnership interests, intangible assets, professional services, compensation arrangements, stock options, and tangible assets.

Jerry has provided services to clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, aerospace and defense, manufacturing, retail, distribution, technology, media, and financial services. He has served clients and their counsel in over 20 matters as a valuation, transaction, and/or financial damages expert witness in federal court, state court, divorce court, arbitration, mediation, regulatory, and bankruptcy cases. His testimony experience includes expert reports, rebuttal reports, depositions, and oral testimony in front of judges, juries, arbitrators, mediators, and regulators. Jerry has been selected to serve as a financial, transaction, and valuation expert to seven state attorneys general offices to date (MA, CT, NJ, ID, NH, NC, RI) related to statutory nonprofit conversion transactions and other high-stakes matters.

Prior to Stout, Jerry served as a valuation Managing Director and Partner at two global consulting firms and a Manager at two Big Four accounting and consulting firms.
