Justin Elanjian has over 15 years of experience as a consultant, accountant, and auditor.
Justin specializes in working with businesses of all types and sizes on government program-related economic assistance, including the CARES Act and other pandemic-related relief including, but not limited to, the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Specifically, he works directly with service providers, lenders, insurance companies, payroll companies, businesses, and their advisors (i.e., CPAs, attorneys, bankers, etc.) with risk mitigation, compliance and fraud prevention, detection, response, and remediation services, including litigation support and expert witness services.
He regularly writes and presents on topics related to the CARES Act, ERC, and PPP matters. He is regularly featured in publications, podcasts, webinars, and other periodicals, including the American Business Journals, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Chicago Tribune, and the Journal of Accountancy in addition to numerous trade associations.
Prior to joining Stout, Justin was the Partner-in-Charge of PPP and ERC Services at a national top 25 public accounting firm, where he advised thousands of businesses and their advisors on COVID-relief programs. He drove sales, market outreach, process efficiency, and people development, and he set the overall strategy for the firm’s PPP and ERC Services. Prior to this role, he spent 12 years as an accountant and auditor advising businesses on regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
