Cole Baty

Cole Baty has over 15 years of experience assisting both public and private companies with technical accounting and financial reporting matters. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including technology, media, & telecommunications; healthcare; consumer; and business & industrial services.

Cole advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on complex accounting matters such as the following: revenue recognition, business combinations, debt and equity arrangements, financial statement preparation (including for first-time audits), earnings per share, SEC reporting, and initial public offerings. Cole also advises companies on accounting for leases, variable interest entities, share-based compensation, fair value measurements, and investments.

Prior to joining Stout, Cole was a partner at Connor Group and a manager at KPMG.
