Alex Arnold has more than four years of experience in real estate valuation and advisory services with an emphasis in purchase price allocations, portfolio valuations, business combination transactions, and estate and gift taxation.

Alex’s professional experience includes the analysis and valuation of resort and hospitality properties, industrial properties, office buildings, retail properties, multi-family properties, and development land. He has performed work across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. 

Alex is primarily focused on real estate appraisal and consulting for publicly traded REITs and private equity firms. His appraisals have been used for portfolio valuation, internal planning, and decision-making purposes. In addition, he is proficient in real property valuations for financial reporting in connection with ASC 805 (business combinations), ASC 820 (fair value measurements), ASC 350 (goodwill and other intangible assets), ASC 840 (lease accounting), and fresh start accounting. Furthermore, Alex has experience involving leasehold valuations, net asset valuations (NAV) for REITs, and fairness opinions involving real estate company/portfolio transactions.
