We were retained by a U.S. Research Foundation to perform a royalty compliance audit on the accuracy of licensee’s reported royalty amount. Through reviewing and analyzing of licensee’s books and records as well as interviews with licensee’s personnel, we found nearly 40% additional unreported and unpaid royalties. We also assisted the client with negotiating and ultimately receiving all unpaid royalties as well as a recovery of our professional’s fees and expenses for the audit.
