Bartley P. O’Dwyer is the Head of Private Equity Business Development at Stout. He has over 20 years of experience in financial services working with private equity sponsors, venture capital firms, investment managers, hedge fund managers, family offices, credit investors, BDCs, and lenders. Through his work leading teams and client coverage, he has cultivated extensive relationships across the private equity market and with senior executives in technology, consumer, industrials, healthcare, energy, infrastructure, and financial services.

Prior to joining Stout, Bartley was a Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development and member of the executive team at Consero Global backed by BV Investment Partners. At Consero, he led Consero’s commercial efforts and national expansion with private equity sponsors and their portfolio company CEOs and CFOs.

Prior to that, he spent 16 years with Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), spanning multiple roles and ultimately leading GLG’s private equity and venture capital practice, the fastest-growing business within the company through multiple rounds of institutional investment with firms such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Silver Laker Partners, and SFW Capital.

Bartley started his career with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in their leadership development program, and over the course of his career he has been involved with organizations such as The Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, The American Ireland Fund, The St. Patrick’s Day Foundation of New York City, and the Association for Corporate Growth. He has also served as a board member of NYPEN (The New York Private Equity Network).
