Stout served as the exclusive financial advisor to United Milwaukee Scrap, LLC (UMS) in connection with its merger with Schulz’s Recycling Inc. UMS serves the recycling needs of industrial scrap metal generators and consumers across the U.S. including manufacturers, contractors, scrap yard dealers, and the general public. The transaction created a new company with eight locations across Wisconsin, with additional offices in Minneapolis and Boston. The merger provided opportunity for the companies to better serve their expanding needs of customers, enhance the attraction of new talent, broaden products/commodities, and expand geographical reach.
