Aaron and his team supported a global consumer packaging company and provided strategic oversight to the IT function in a complex acquisition and carve-out transaction. Both the buyer and target divested several assets in a combined deal to a strategic buyer, which required several IT assets to be carved out of both companies. Transition agreements were developed across North America, South America, and Europe. At the same time, both businesses consolidated the remaining IT environment and transformed the IT operating model by expanding the use of software-as-a-service products to reduce the cost and complexity to serve a diverse user base, achieving synergies through the consolidation of enterprise applications and global infrastructure and enabling significant business synergies.
