Kevin Hope

Kevin Hope advises private equity and corporate clients on financial due diligence across a range of industries, including technology, media, and telecommunications, industrials, financial services, healthcare, and business and professional services.

Kevin leads buy-side and sell-side engagements with a focus on quality-of-earnings analyses, developing a clear view of normalized earnings and key value drivers to support investment decision making. He works closely with management teams, investors, lawyers, and bankers to ensure diligence findings are appropriately reflected in purchase agreements. His experience includes supporting net working capital target setting and negotiations, identifying debt-like items, reviewing key purchase agreement terms, and assisting in the preparation of closing schedules. He is particularly experienced in complex carve-out transactions and is known for delivering a hands-on, detail-oriented approach throughout the deal lifecycle.

In addition to his transaction work, Kevin has a strong background in financial modeling, including the development of three-statement models, KPI analyses, and dashboards and performance analytics to support value creation initiatives.

Prior to joining Stout, Kevin spent nine years at Connor Group, where he advised clients on financial due diligence across various industries and spearheaded the firm’s business modeling offering. He began his career in the audit practice at RSM.
