A national publicly traded hospital group engaged us to conduct a global fair market value (FMV) compensation analysis and to develop an accompanying FMV compensation tool for pathology services compensation arrangements between certain hospitals in our client’s hospital network and its respective pathology practice partners. The primary goal was to enable the client to obtain on-demand and market-specific FMV guidance related to compensated pathology services arrangements.

By leveraging our FMV analysis and the customized tool, the hospitals were able to streamline their compensation processes and establish FMV compliant compensation arrangements. This facilitated smoother negotiations with pathology groups and supported the client’s goal of maintaining high standards of care and operational efficiency within its hospitals’ pathology programs.
