Stout performed detailed valuation analyses of the interests in two sports franchises and promissory notes that were proposed as part of a swap. This required the full valuation of both franchises as well as an assessment regarding the applicability and magnitude of discounts for lack of control and lack of marketability for the non-voting interests in the franchises and an assessment of the appropriate interest rate for the notes.
