Dan Gomez

Dan Gomez is Head of Consumer in the Investment Banking group at Stout, advising family-owned businesses, private equity firms, and corporate clients in mergers & acquisitions, private placements, divestitures, recapitalizations, and other investment banking activities in the Consumer sector.

Dan specializes in Food & Beverage, where he has advised on transactions spanning across the food value chain including ingredients development and sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and both branded and private label consumer packaged goods. He brings deep sector knowledge and a broad network of strategic and financial buyers across the Consumer and Food & Beverage landscape.

Prior to joining Stout, Dan was a Managing Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), where he led the firm's Food & Beverage investment banking practice. He began his corporate finance career at Deutsche Bank Securities before moving into middle market investment banking at Piper Jaffray. Before entering investment banking, Dan served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. He was a designated Naval Aviator, completing operational deployments overseas and assignments at the Pentagon.
