Lancel Coke

Lancel Coke has extensive experience providing accounting advisory and transaction support services to public and private companies. He advises U.S. multinational corporations and privately held issuers on the accounting and reporting consequences of complex transactions, with industry experience concentrated in financial services, consumer products, technology, and manufacturing.

Lancel advises private equity funds and publicly traded and privately owned companies on accounting for mergers and acquisitions, including purchase accounting, carve-out and integration considerations, and post-close financial reporting. His work also covers technical accounting matters under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and regulatory reporting requirements, and readiness for capital markets transactions. He works closely with chief financial officers, corporate controllers, technical accounting teams, and deal teams on transactions where the reporting outcome shapes how the deal is structured and communicated to investors and auditors.

Prior to joining Stout, Lancel spent his career with PwC, most recently as a manager in the firm’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services practice in the Washington, DC, area. He began his career in PwC’s audit and assurance practice in Jamaica and later joined the firm’s deals advisory group before relocating to the United States.
