Daryl gründete im Jahr 2000 das Unternehmen HealthCare Appraisers, Inc., das heute Teil von Stout ist. HealthCare Appraisers hat Bewertungs- und Beratungsdienstleistungen für Kunden aller Größenordnungen erbracht – von kleinen Einzelpraxen bis hin zu großen, landesweit tätigen Krankenhäusern und Gesundheitssystemen in allen 50 Bundesstaaten der USA und im Ausland.
Vor der Gründung von HealthCare Appraisers war Daryl als Chief Financial Officer und Chief Operating Officer eines nationalen, börsennotierten Unternehmens für die Verwaltung von Krebserkrankungen und als Chief Operating Officer eines nationalen Unternehmens für das Management von neuro-muskuloskelettalen Ärzten tätig. Er war für die Entwicklung und den Betrieb eines nationalen Netzwerks von ambulanten Knochenmarktransplantationszentren, klinischen Studienprogrammen, klinischen Labors, ambulanten Operationszentren, Bildgebungszentren und Physiotherapieprogrammen verantwortlich. Er ist ein gefragter Redner und Autor zu Themen der Bewertung im Gesundheitswesen.
