Cindy Zou

Cindy Zou has over 10 years of experience in financial accounting advisory and external audit. She advises clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, internal controls, and finance transformation initiatives across a range of industries, including asset management, banking, insurance, technology, and manufacturing.

Her areas of expertise include accounting advisory, financial reporting and disclosures, internal control assessments and remediation, and accounting policy and procedure enhancement. Cindy also supports financial statement preparation, controllership operations, IPO readiness, finance transformation initiatives, and financial reporting process improvements. She also advises client on accounting and financial reporting matters related to digital assets and cryptocurrency transactions.

Before joining Stout, Cindy was a Manager at EY, where she provided financial accounting advisory services to clients in the financial services industry. Previously, she worked in PwC’s Asset Management Assurance practice, performing external audits of asset management firms.
