Engaged by a semiconductor company to calculate damages for a patent infringement dispute related to cellular phones.  My work consisted of rebutting the opposing damages expert’s report, reviewing licensing and settlement agreements, assessing the value of the patented technology to our client, as well as analyzing accused sales and profits associated with the accused chipsets.  We determined that the opposing expert report contained errors and logical flaws and that his calculation was overstated.  The case settled favorably for our client after expert reports issued.
