Michael Macek

Michael Macek provides business valuation services for trust and estate matters, as well as shareholder and succession planning.

Michael has experience valuing operating companies and ownership interests in asset-holding entities, including those holding real estate and marketable securities. His work includes valuations of private equity and hedge fund interests and analyses of discounts for lack of control and lack of marketability.

He also serves on Stout’s Products and Process Committee, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of valuation templates.

Prior to joining Stout, Michael was a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where he provided tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to private equity firms, corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
