Analyzed HCP compensation arrangements for genetic testing company
A leading genetic testing company engaged us to provide fair market value (FMV) compensation guidance for its arrangements with various healthcare provider consultants (HCP[s]) located in multiple countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Israel, Japan, and Colombia.
The project involved a diverse group of HCPs, including approximately 50 physician and non-physician HCP position titles. In addition to the FMV compensation analysis, we developed a detailed model that allowed the client to stratify HCPs into different compensation tiers based on each HCP’s level of experience, expertise, and influence within its respective fields.
The HCPs’ roles were critical to the client’s business, as they were involved in supporting the development and testing of the company’s genetic testing products and services. Our thorough analysis and tailored compensation model provided the client with the necessary tools to negotiate and structure consultant agreements effectively. This enabled our client to maintain compliant and mutually beneficial relationships with its HCPs, ultimately contributing to the successful advancement of its genetic testing offerings.
