Our team performed an analysis and prepared an expert report on behalf of a designer and engineer to analyze damages submitted by a contractor with respect to the repair and reconstruction of a flood retarding structure project. We evaluated the contractor’s claim by analyzing supporting project and accounting documentation and underlying assumptions, including the contractor’s bid, and claimed mark-ups. Additionally, we rebutted the contractor’s financial expert, who was engaged to determine the completeness, accuracy, and consistency relative to the agreement of the claim prepared by the contractor.
