An American holding company for various life insurance companies and investment firms operating primarily in the United States decided to sunset its existing life insurance reserve platform and implement a new one. Through collaboration with management, IT, and Internal Audit, Scott’s team was able to opine on the company’s implementation efforts, including the design, testing, and installation of the new system. The audit report was backed by key control testing documentation as well as substantive analysis over crucial financial statement assertions.
