Stout was retained by an AM Law 100 firm to provide expert testimony services in the context of a complex child support proceeding. Stout conducted a detailed analysis of the opposing spouse’s wage earning potential that included an in depth review of prior work history, education and geographical location. Stout’s analysis, using a combination of information obtained via discovery and augmented with wage and earnings statistics compiled by the United States government demonstrated that the opposing spouse was intentionally suppressing earnings. These findings, after an appeals process, were specifically cited by the Court in arriving at a favorable resolution for our client.
