Gian G. Ricco is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group. In that capacity, he focuses on merger and acquisition advisory, institutional private placements of debt and equity, and strategic consulting. He brings extensive public and private middle market experience to the firm.

In addition to his deep food and beverage experience, Gian’s industry expertise includes manufacturing, metals, automotive, aerospace and defense, capital goods, and industrial technology, among others. His recent sell-side experience includes Western Industries, Inc., Spring (U.S.A.) Corporation, Empire Equipment Company, Atlas Wire Corporation, and CPI Binani, Inc.

Prior to joining Stout, Gian was a Vice President at a boutique investment bank in Chicago, where he advised numerous middle market businesses in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising mandates. Earlier, he was in the Industrial Growth and Services investment banking group at Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Securities), where he worked on a range of transactions, from $150 million up to $2 billion, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, and loan syndications. Formerly a registered Professional Engineer, Gian started his career as an engineering consultant focused on the transportation sector.
