Dan Broadhurst is a Managing Director in the Dispute Consulting group. He has over 30 years of experience as either an expert witness or consultant in a variety of litigation matters involving tax controversies, commercial contract disputes, telecommunications regulatory disputes and forensic accounting and data investigations. He has testified in U.S. Tax court, U.S. bankruptcy court, state public service commission proceedings and before arbitration panels. He has performed a variety of consulting services ranging from high-level statistical analysis to detailed fact analysis and records reconstruction.

Dan’s engagements experience has involved large and complex litigation matters related to international and domestic tax law, regulatory issues, breach of contract, intellectual property, fraud, tort, environmental, and claims against government agencies.

Prior to joining Stout, Dan was a founder of Natoma Partners, an independent provider of financial consulting services headquartered in Chicago. Prior to founding Natoma Partners, he was a founding managing director at Huron Consulting Group where he led the Disputes and Investigations practice and served in various corporate roles including Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his affiliation with Huron Consulting Group Dan led Arthur Andersen’s Central Region Economic and Financial Consulting group. Dan began his career with Arthur Andersen as a staff accountant.
