Cory Thompson è Managing Director nel gruppo Consulenza in materia di valutazioni e responsabile delle sedi di Detroit e Grand Rapids dell'azienda. Vanta oltre 20 anni di esperienza in un'ampia gamma di servizi di consulenza finanziaria e valutazione aziendale ed è specializzato in particolare nella valutazione ai fini finanziari e di rendicontazione fiscale di società commerciali, beni immateriali, debiti, equity e strumenti derivati, oltre che nelle problematiche relative alla pianificazione strategica aziendale.

Cory offre ottime competenze in materia di FASB ASC in relazione alle aggregazioni aziendali (contabilizzazione delle acquisizioni), impairment test (avviamento e beni con vita utile indefinita o definita), pagamenti basati su azioni e misurazioni del valore equo (valutazioni mark-to-market), oltre a conoscere le aspettative di enti normativi, consulenti e altre entità legate alla rendicontazione finanziaria. La sua esperienza comprende una base clienti diversificata che spazia da imprese di medie dimensioni a livello regionale ad aziende multimiliardarie con rendicontazione SEC, private equity, venture capital, hedge fund e studi contabili.

Cory ha offerto i propri servizi a numerosi settori e ha una vasta esperienza nei settori industriali e automobilistici diversificati. In particolare, Cory ha collaborato con diversi produttori di attrezzature originali e relativi fornitori. In tali circostanze, ha sviluppato competenze tecniche relative alle tecnologie ingegneristiche impiegate nei telai classici e nei gruppi propulsori, oltre che nei software e sistemi che in futuro supporteranno la guida autonoma e di veicoli elettrici e i sistemi di controllo attivo della sicurezza.
