Testified as the expert witness on damages to the amount of economic harm resulting from the infringement of a patent on a method of facilitating text messaging across carrier networks. Our analysis included, among other things, an evaluation of whether lost profits was an appropriate measure of damages. Our damages opinion was based on a reasonable royalty theory.
