Stout was engaged by the Defendant in a dispute regarding the alleged wrongful termination of a distribution agreement between the two parties. The Plaintiff, a former distributor of the Defendant's power tools and accessories products, claimed the termination of the contract negatively impacted the selling price of the company in a corporate transaction. Stout reviewed, analyzed, and rebutted the opposing expert's opinion of damages. In addition to providing quantitative support, Stout challenged the application of the methodologies used by the Defendant's expert witness in computing the claims. Stout's work resulted in a favorable settlement to the client.
