We assisted the defendant to assess the reasonableness of a claim brought by a local retail department store related to the business interruption and loss of merchandise contained in the store.  Our forensic investigation of the accounting records and analysis of the historical store sales assisted our client support that the claim for business interruption and merchandise was significantly overstated which lead to a countersuit for fraud by our client against the retailer.  The matter was settled favorably for our client.
