Doug Lauckhardt has over 15 years of experience in accounting leadership roles, including in the areas of technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction advisory. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including technology, media, telecommunications, business and industrial services, energy and power, and healthcare.

Doug advises publicly traded and privately owned companies on a variety of technical accounting topics, including business combinations, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, consolidation, and lease accounting. Additionally, he is experienced with capital market transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions, including initial public offerings, debt and equity offerings, and carve-out transactions related to acquisitions and divestitures. He is also experienced with SEC reporting matters, assisting clients with accounting standard adoptions and providing audit readiness assistance.

Prior to joining Stout, Doug was a partner at Grant Thornton LLP and provided accounting advisory services to public, private, and private equity clients. Previously, he held management positions at KPMG and Deloitte.
