Stout Advises on Sale of Petersen Inc. to Precinmac Precision Machining

Stout is pleased to announce the sale of Petersen Inc. (“Petersen” or “the Company”) to Precinmac Precision Machining (“Precinmac”), a portfolio company of Pine Island Capital Partners; Bain Capital Credit, LP; and Compass Partners Capital. Stout served as exclusive financial advisor to Petersen in connection with this transaction.

Established in 1961 and headquartered in Ogden, Utah, Petersen is a leading provider of highly complex, design, engineering, and manufacturing turnkey solutions for a broad range of applications across diversified end markets. The Company’s comprehensive range of manufacturing services enables Petersen to act as a one-stop shop for its clients’ most challenging, mission-critical, niche-manufacturing needs by leveraging industry-leading capabilities within advanced manufacturing, custom fabrication, precision machining, warehousing and distribution, field services, and design/engineering.

The addition of Petersen expands Precinmac’s capabilities and product offerings to better serve the aerospace and defense, semiconductor, power generation / energy, medical, and general industrial sectors.

Stout’s Christopher Merley and Mark Abbott led the execution of the transaction, assisted by Michael Benson, Matthew Hricko, Sidarth Balaji, and Johnathan Lekosiotis.
