Stout Pride

Stout Pride

Stout Pride envisions an identity-affirming and inclusive community where all colleagues across the gender and sexuality spectrum feel welcome, seen, and supported through increased visibility, awareness, and advocacy.

Stout Pride Mission Statement

Stout Pride’s mission is to create an open and safe space for Stout’s LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies to build connections and friendship. We aim to support personal and professional development, provide opportunities to give back through philanthropic activities, and promote diversity, inclusion, and acceptance within the firm by highlighting and addressing unique issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.

Stout Pride is focused on two key areas:

Visitbility & Branding

Visibility & Branding

The Visibility & Branding Committee is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive community at Stout for all colleagues, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Through education, advocacy, and celebration, our committee strives to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues, foster a culture of acceptance, and promote equality and diversity throughout the firm.

Networking

Networking

The Networking Committee seeks to cultivate relationships between Stout’s current and future queer colleagues and allies, as well as external organizations, in order to provide support, encouragement, and mentorship. We seek to facilitate the exchange of ideas in order to promote the development of Stout’s current and future queer colleagues, allies, and the organization as a whole.

Colleague Support and Involvement

I hope that Stout becomes an industry leader in diversity and inclusion. As we make strides in the genesis of these employee resource groups, I hope that colleagues, clients, and community members will see that Stout's relentless excellence goes beyond the services we provide to our clients, but to the culture that we create internally and externally. A goal of mine is that Stout Pride will foster colleague connection and mentorship opportunities for folks who have historically felt unsafe and underrepresented in the workplace.”

– Jacob Smith, Real Estate Analyst (he/him)
Networking Committee Co-Chair

Everybody deserves to work in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and understood. I am excited to work alongside my colleagues at Stout to help ensure we all have the knowledge, tools, and resources to be a community where everyone can thrive.”

– Erin Lippert, Marketing Associate (she/her)
Visibility & Branding Committee Co-Chair

Stout Pride gives me the opportunity to help make Stout a more welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone!”

– Taylor Warpool, User Analyst (she/her)
Visibility & Branding Committee Co-Chair

As someone who is openly pansexual, the connections I have made within the queer community have become some of my most meaningful friendships, especially in that they allow me and others to be our full selves. My hope is to create a space at Stout where that is possible for everyone, too.”

– Ricky Rivera, ESOP Analyst (he/him)
Networking Committee Co-Chair

I am honored to work with this group of talented and passionate individuals and look forward to helping Stout Pride flourish.”
