Robert Painchaud

Robert Painchaud leads Stout’s Financial Advisory practices in Switzerland. He has extensive finance and leadership experience in the financial departments of asset management firms, private banks, and brokerage firms across North America and Europe.

His experience includes financing, business valuation, investment analysis, financial information system implementation, financial risk management, and financial strategy implementation. His expertise spans financial due diligence, process optimization, internal controls, and post-transaction integration support.

Before joining Stout, Robert was an Interim CFO of Banque SYZ in Geneva. He has held senior executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance, at private and public financial institutions. Robert has also worked for several financial firms in Switzerland, including Mirabaud Asset Management, Edmond de Rothschild, HSBC Private Bank, Swissquote, and Capital International. He began his career over 25 years ago as an external auditor at EY Canada, followed by PwC Canada, and then transferred to PwC Switzerland.
