Rob Hauptman provides valuation and financial advisory services to healthcare clients for numerous purposes including fair market value opinions for regulatory compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, fairness and solvency opinions, estate and gift taxation, shareholder disputes, issuance of equity compensation and stock options, corporate and strategic planning, determination of merger-exchange ratios, blockage opinions, valuation discount opinions, ESOPs, and other tax, corporate and litigation-related matters.

Rob has significant experience in valuing healthcare enterprises including: acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, assisted living centers, dental and orthodontic service organizations, diagnostic imaging centers, dialysis centers, durable medical equipment providers, employee assistance programs, home health and hospice agencies, management service organizations, medical device manufacturers, nursing homes, pharmacy benefit management organizations, physical therapy centers, physician groups, physician staffing organizations, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, sleep labs, substance abuse treatment facilities, and surgical hospitals. Additionally, Rob has experience determining the fair market value and commercial reasonableness of physician compensation and various service arrangements.

Rob has presented to the Cleveland Bar Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (Northeast Ohio Chapter), the Michigan Association of CPAs, the Ohio Hospital Association, and the Ohio Society of CPAs on various valuation and healthcare topics. Additionally, he was a presenter in the American Educational Institute, Inc.’s 2012-13 Medical-Dental-Legal Update.
