Matthew Linder

Matt Linder is a Director in the Legal Management Consulting practice at Stout. He has over eight years of professional experience helping corporate law departments design, implement, and manage technologies. Matt has also served as an extension of in-house discovery teams by working with internal and external counsel to define and enhance discovery policies and procedures.

Matt has implemented several eDiscovery, contract management, and document management technologies and has been hands-on in the development of custom integrations and data migrations for a variety of systems. He has acted as the lead point of contact for defining requirements and business workflows, conducting user acceptance testing, and leading classroom style trainings. He has also assisted companies in evaluating and selecting legal technologies to meet business needs. 

Matt has assisted in the development of department-wide discovery programs and managed numerous complex litigation and discovery processes. In this capacity, Matt has coordinated the collection, review, and production of millions of documents and served as an interim legal hold system administrator for a Global 10 oil and gas company. He has also assisted numerous large corporations with assessments of their eDiscovery readiness procedures and developed solutions to reduce risk and spend.  

Prior to joining Stout, Matt was an Associate at Huron Consulting Group. He is certified to implement a variety of legal technologies including Exterro 5.0, Zapproved Legal Hold Pro, LexisNexis CounselLink, and Onit Apptitiude.
