Mathis Wilke is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking group at Stout and a senior member of the global technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice. Mathis’ advisory experience includes mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, shareholder defense, strategic advisory, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and equity and debt financing. He has successfully executed M&A transactions and financing assignments exceeding $15 billion in value.

Mathis brings deep expertise in international transactions across numerous industries, with an emphasis on TMT. Specifically, Mathis has managed sector coverage in the areas of artificial intelligence, software, data and analytics, fintech, automotive technology, mobility, telematics, industrial technology, IoT/IT services, hosting, cable and fiber, content and social, publishing, business services, technology platforms, e-commerce, digital media, and internet.

He has advised on more than 30 transactions for family-owned, sponsor-backed, early-stage, and public Fortune 100 companies. Recent TMT transactions include eFront Software, Funke Medien, GK Software, Host Europe, Lovoo, Momox, Native Instruments, P&I Personal & Informatik, PTV Group, Seeburger, TeleColumbus, trainline.com, Vitafy, and Wirecard. Recent transactions in other sectors include Ameos, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Continental, Daimler, GEA Group, Linde, Porsche, Schwarz/Lidl Group, ThyssenKrupp, and Volkswagen. His transactions with family offices and sponsors include Acton, Bridgepoint, Cinven, CVC, DPE, Hg Capital, KKR, Quadriga, Venture Stars, and Verdane Capital.

Prior to joining Stout, Mathis served as Executive Director at ACXIT Capital Partners, a European corporate finance and investment advisory firm for middle market clients and entrepreneurs with focus on the technology and media sector. Prior to ACXIT, he led the European TMT sector coverage within the investment banking division of IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG in Frankfurt.
