Katelyn Horowitz is a Senior Vice President in the Accounting and Reporting Advisory practice. She has over seven years of experience in providing technical accounting and financial reporting services to public and private sector clients. She has worked with a broad range of industries, including consumer retail, healthcare, financial technology, and other financial services.

Katelyn has extensive experience in the adoption of recent accounting standards such as leases (ASC 842) and revenue recognition (ASC 606). Furthermore, she advises publicly traded and privately owned companies in areas such as: impairment of goodwill, intangibles, long-lived assets, and right-of-use assets; internal control considerations around new transactions and accounting pronouncements; software accounting; purchase accounting; stock-based compensation; and compliance with SEC filing requirements.

Prior to joining Stout, Katelyn led the technical accounting and financial reporting functions at a mid-size public company. Additionally, she was a Senior Associate at PwC’s assurance practice in Hartford, CT, and San Francisco.
