Jeff Harnden

Jeff Harnden is a Director in the Accounting & Reporting Advisory practice. He has over 20 years of experience providing accounting advisory services to both public and private-sector clients. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, metals, automotive, gaming, healthcare, distribution, and real estate.

Jeff advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on financial reporting and technical accounting issues. He is a subject matter expert on a variety of technical accounting issues, including business combinations, lease accounting, revenue recognition, debt and equity issues, impairments, and initial public offerings.

Prior to joining Stout, Jeff was the Controller for publicly traded and private equity-backed companies and was a Director in PwC’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory practice, where he led multiple projects focused on accounting standard adoption and transaction structuring.
