Jason Easterly has more than 15 years of real property valuation and consulting experience, with a concentration on valuations for financial reporting and financing purposes.

Jason has provided numerous types of valuation and advisory services for multiple property types. His valuation experience includes assignments across the United States as well as Canada, Europe and the United Kingdom, Central and South America, Asia, and the Middle East. Jason has consulted on many engagements requiring valuations for financial reporting in connection with ASC 805, ASC 820, ASC 350, and ASC 842 related to purchase price allocations, fair value measurements, positive assurance, goodwill impairment testing, fresh start accounting and lease accounting. In addition to U.S.-based client needs, Jason is heavily involved on international valuations to satisfy reporting requirements for IFRS, U.K. GAAP, Dutch GAAP and other International Accounting Standards (IAS) related needs.

His experience includes loan collateral evaluation for lenders, sale-leaseback transactions, corporate real estate portfolio valuations and leasehold valuations. Furthermore, he has extensive experience involving net asset valuations (NAV) for REITs and various real estate companies and fairness opinions involving real estate company and portfolio transactions.
