Erich Kirr is a Director in the Dispute Consulting group. In his 20 years of experience, Erich has worked on a variety of litigation and valuation engagements. He has provided testimony as a damages expert in both state and federal court matters as well as matters in arbitration. He is experienced in matters involving intellectual property disputes, commercial contract disputes, securities fraud, accounting fraud, post-acquisition disputes and bankruptcy/solvency matters. In these matters, Erich has performed numerous financial and accounting analyses, prepared expert reports, developed outlines for deposition, arbitration and trial testimony and developed demonstrative exhibits for trial and arbitration. He is experienced and adept at performing complex quantitative analyses utilizing a variety of techniques such as decision tree modeling and Monte Carlo analysis.
Erich has consulting experience across a broad array of industries including chemicals, computer hardware and software, telecommunications, medical products, financial services, insurance, energy, and defense. Additionally, he has significant first hand business experience in a variety of manufacturing environments including plastic injection molding, metal stamping, and manual & automated component/final assembly. Erich is experienced in product and process design as well as the development and implementation of lean manufacturing systems. He has been a key member of teams developing process technology which has been identified and maintained as a trade secret in the automotive industry.
Prior to joining Stout, Erich was an Associate Principal at Charles River Associates. Prior to that, he worked in the automotive industry, first at General Motors Corporation and subsequently at Delphi Corporation. His automotive experience involved a variety of positions including, Process Engineer, Product Manager, Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Marketing Strategist and Internal Consultant.
