Alexander Bowen

Alex Bowen has over eight years of experience providing advisory and audit services to both public and private-sector clients. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, and power and utilities. He also has experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, account reconciliations, cost allocations, inventory costing, SOX compliance, and financial statement audits. Alex is knowledgeable about key accounting standards including ASC 606 and ASC 330.

Alex has supported clients with the transformation of their finance and accounting organizations. He has supported executives in identifying and implementing solutions that accelerate the accounting close and improve the quality of management reporting (FP&A). His FP&A experiences extends to annual and strategic planning, cash forecasting and management, management reporting, dashboarding and process automation.

Alex has experience managing finance function integrations inclusive of 100-day planning and integration execution (chart of accounts mapping, alignment of accounting process and policies, synergy tracking, business initiative support).

Prior to joining Stout, Alex spent six years at Deloitte, where he focused on providing finance transformation services to a variety of clients. Alex helped his clients’ finance functions better leverage enabling technologies, utilize finance data, improve processes, and optimize roles and responsibilities.
