Stout Hires Michelle Johnson as Chief Revenue Officer
Stout announced today that it has hired Michelle Johnson as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Michelle will lead the company’s strategy for long-term revenue growth by expanding the value Stout’s teams provide to clients.
Prior to joining Stout, Michelle was Deputy Chief Revenue Officer at Kroll, responsible for designing and implementing programs that enable client-serving professionals to offer the best expertise to solve clients’ most urgent problems. Her efforts build on over twenty years of experience in professional services firms leading teams to present complex analyses to large multinational corporations’ finance and tax departments.
Earlier in her career, she served as the head of US operations for one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing consulting firms. She has contributed to four books on pricing and valuation, and has guest lectured at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management on topics related to revenue growth.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle to the firm,” said Jeff Risius, Head of Client Service at Stout. “Michelle’s experience in driving client-focused initiatives will greatly benefit Stout as we continue to build on our long-term strategic plan."
"Stout has an excellent reputation and a 30-year track record of outstanding growth,” said Michelle. “I look forward to teaming with the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and practice leaders at Stout to accelerate success in this next chapter.”
Michelle received her B.S. in Economics, French, and Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her M.A. in Economics from New York University. She will be based in Stout’s Chicago office.
