Stout Announces New Detroit Office Leader

Stout is proud to announce Kevin Kernen has been appointed leader of the Detroit office. Kevin Kernen is a Managing Director and co-lead for the Real Estate practice within the Valuation Advisory group. His concentration is in commercial real estate valuation and advisory services, where he has over 22 years of national and international appraisal, review, and consulting experience.

Kevin’s experience encompasses a wide range of commercial real estate engagements covering numerous property types from core properties to special purpose properties, and a variety of matter types such as litigation, estate and gift tax reporting, and financial reporting. Kevin is an accomplished public speaker and an expert witness who has testified in a variety of state and local jurisdictions.

Kevin serves on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan (GSSEM) and Forgotten Harvest. Kevin is also a leadership advisor for Stout’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
