Scott Weingust has been recognized as a world-leading intellectual property (IP) strategist in the latest edition of IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists. Scott has been named to the IAM Strategy 300 list for three consecutive years.
IAM Strategy 300 identifies the individuals who are leading the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios. Individuals named to this list are identified through confidential nominations and an extensive research process involving interviews with senior members of the global IP community. No individual can qualify for a listing in the IAM Strategy 300 unless he or she is nominated by at least three people from outside of his or her own organization.
Scott is the leader of Stout’s IP Valuation practice and has over 20 years of experience providing consulting services to corporations, law firms, universities, and investment firms primarily in the areas of IP valuation, damages, monetization, and management. Scott is also an adjunct professor at the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago where he teaches a course on IP valuation, and he frequently speaks at conferences and other events for many leading IP, legal, and business organizations.
