Robert von Furth Joins Stout's Investment Banking Group

Stout is pleased to announce that Robert von Furth has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking group. Rob has extensive experience across the full range of investment banking activities, with a primary focus on M&A advisory in the consumer, retail, food, and beverage sector.

“We are pleased to welcome Rob to our Investment Banking team,” said Nick Jachim, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Stout. “Rob’s experience in numerous consumer segments strengthens our existing coverage across the consumer, retail, food, and beverage industry, as does his history of transacting with large strategic buyers and the private equity community,” he added.

Prior to joining Stout, Rob worked at Bruderman Brothers where he led the Consumer Products and Services investment banking team and managed all aspects of deal origination and execution. Prior to that, he held Managing Director positions in the Investment Banking Groups at HT Capital Advisors and Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc. where he executed M&A transactions across numerous industries. He started his career within Deloitte’s Corporate Finance practice.  Rob’s experience also includes the creation of two apparel brands, one of which was sold to a multi-brand wholesale and retail enterprise in Japan.

Rob received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He will operate out of Stout’s New York office.
