Our team led the global implementation of a contract management system for the law department of a Fortune 100 food and agriculture company.

Our team led hands-on sessions with attorneys, contract specialists, and administrators to design future state workflows and create unique intake procedures for each type of contract handled by the center of excellence.

The system was deployed to a pilot group in Asia less than six months after the start of design. Within nine months, the law department had migrated over 30,000 historical records to the new system. The reports envisioned for deployment represented a major milestone to help automate the tracking of performance metrics that previously required a full-time equivalent to manually massage and manipulate data.

We assisted the client in:

  • Gathering and prioritizing requirements
  • Designing new process workflows, performance metrics, and reports
  • Creating screen mock-ups for hands-on design review with the project team
  • Conducting user acceptance testing and advising on error resolution
  • Developing easy to read quick reference guides for the law department and business clients

The implementation enhanced the enterprise-wide business client experience for submitting contract requests to the contract center of excellence, and reduced time spent on routine contracts by auto-generating draft contracts, tracking key legal provisions, and enforcing life cycle dates.
